The French Bulldog and the Goldendoodle both have a different set of breed specific health predispositions. Because of this Parisian Puppies test the genetics in each of our breeding adult dogs to ensure that each breeding pair is not only genetically compatible, but also that each genetic pair complements each other in health standards. These means that ALL of our puppies will be genetically cleared from developing these diseases we test for. Often, if two CARRIERS are bred together all of the puppies will be affected. However, if you select parents that are cleared you eliminate the risk of the puppy having issues later in life. We value GREATLY genetic diversity and therefore not only consider genetic traits in each dog but also their COI and how each mating will affect genetic diversity in the bloodline. Much research goes into this and we are proud to stand by each puppy genetically! Check out some of the more prominent breed specific conditions we test our adults for below.

Because the Goldendoodle is a cross between a Poodle and a Golden Retriver we must test for genetics in both sides of the breed. This cross makes for a more robust gene pool therefore producing generally healthier puppies and adults.
